Bluetti AC300 Power Station: A Heavy Power Station That Can Max Up to 24.6kWh, 6000W Capacity

Bluetti has officially announced another surprising model called, Bluetti AC300 power station. The massive power backup system can be an incredible emergency power center to run an entire household or a worksite off the grid.

Coming with no battery pack inside, AC300 enjoys a completely modular design. Of course, it highlights a change in the approach of having an inbuilt battery pack inside a power station.

Instead, you can add up Bluetti’s B300 extra battery pack to support its built-in heavy 3000W inverter. A single unit of Bluetti B300 battery module has a storage capacity of 3072Wh. That is enough to make it a powerhouse for camping and emergency needs.

Meanwhile, with four pieces of B300, you can take the capacity of the system up to a huge 12.3kWh.

What’s more, using the brand’s Fusion Box Pro, you can pair two AC300s together to double the storage and inverter power. Thus, you can expand it into a colossal power station of 24.6kWh and 6000W power. Check Out More Details Here.

Well, AC300 integrates six AC outlets, a whopping 3000W AC charging input and 2400W solar input. Moreover, the B300 battery module also sports its own USB and DC sockets.

Update: Bluetti is expected to start selling AC300 in September 2021.

Bluetti AC300 Power Station

As said above, Bluetti AC300 keeps a completely new direction in the design of solar power stations. Instead of having an internal battery, it features a more amazing modular profile, where you can add multiple external battery packs for the power you need.

It has got a sophisticated MPPT charge controller that can support up to a huge 2400W of solar input. And the AC charging it can support is up to 3000 watts. Paired with one more unit of AC300, you can simply double all these figures.

By the way, an AC300 sports six AC outlets, one US AC TT-30P port, a pair of 5V/3A USB-A outlets, as many USB-A 18W ports, and one 100W Type-C USB-C port.

The other options include a 12V/30A socket, a 12V/10A cigarette lighter charger, two 12/10A DC 5521 ports, and a pair of 15-watt wireless charging pads.

Notable Features

  • 3000/6000W (Surge) Solar Power Station.
  • Six AC Outlets and One US AC TT-30P Port.
  • Highly Modular with Multiple Battery Packs.
  • Two 18W USB-A and USB-A 5V/3A Sockets.
  • Single USB-C 100W Power Delivery Port.
  • Dual DC Sockets, a Carport, and 30A Port.
  • Dual 15W Wireless Charging Pads.

Charging Options

Besides solar, you can charge an AC300 in multiple ways. For solar power, it can support an input voltage of up to 2400 watts, as said above. You can also charge it from other off-grid sources like wind turbines and solar roofs.

The brand looks to introduce its own wind turbines to let you charge the power stations like AC300 and AC200 Max efficiently.

Bluetti AC300 can also be charged from a regular gas generator or 12V/24V lead-acid batteries. When it comes to wall charging, its 3000W input can charge a base AC300, with a single battery module, in just 1.5 hours.

You can also charge it from a 12V/24V car socket or an EV charging station. For the first one, it will take around 15 hours for a full charge, while charging from an EV station will really be quite faster.

Bluetti Expansion Battery

As you see, Bluetti B300 is the expansion battery available for AC300. It is a 3072Wh battery pack. You can hook up AC300 with a maximum of four units of B300 to achieve a groundbreaking 12,288Wh total storage capacity.

The expansion battery module has got a Type-C 3.0 100W Power Delivery port, a USB 3.0 Quick Charge 18W port, and a regulated 13.6V/10A cigarette lighter charger.

It is also a very handy and compact battery pack that features a rugged design and two solid inbuilt carrying handles.

Size and Weight

Bluetti AC300 has a size of 20.5 x 13.9 x 11.8 inches and it weighs 44 lbs with no battery attached. The weight of the B300 extra battery is not available currently.

Price and Availability

The brand plans to start selling the model in August 2021 directly on its website at BluettiPower.Com. Besides the USA market, it will be available in Canada, and other global markets, including the UK, where you will be getting it under the branding PowerOak.

Update: Bluetti has declared the early bird price of AC300 and the battery module. A combination of AC300 and the B300 battery module costs $2899, while B300 costs $1599 individually.

Final Thoughts

That has been our take on the Bluetti AC300 power station.

It is a smart and safe power station with great modular features. You can have full control of it on the Bluetti mobile app. The LiFePO4 battery inside the additional modules is a safe one for rough use in your camping, RVing, and other emergency uses.

By the way, along with the Bluetti AC300, the brand has also announced an expanded version of its much-touted AC200 power station branded as AC200 Max.

  1. I haven’t seen any safety certifications (such as UL, CE, etc) for any of the Bluettis. Does that concern you? Thanks.
