EcoFlow Delta Mini Portable Power Station
Delta Mini marks EcoFlow’s entry into the fray of the much-competitive compact solar power stations. With River Pro at one end of the segment, EcoFlow has smartly placed the miniature of its much-excited midrange model Delta at the other. Thus, Mini comes out to be a great competitor to Bluetti and Jackery.
Packing up a decent inverter of 1400W with a surge of 2100W and an X-Boost power of 1800 watts, Delta Mini can power up most of your essential electrical appliances and other devices. A versatile number of USB and DC ports make it a reliable power source along with as many as five 120V AC sockets.
With a solar input of 300W, Delta Mini can harness the power of the sun to fully charge it in four to eight hours. You can pair two pieces of the brand’s 160W folding solar panels to reach the required solar input.
By the way, charging from an AC wall socket is indeed incredibly faster. Thanks to the brand’s X-Stream charging technology, you can charge it from zero to 80% in just an hour.
A car adapter can charge the machines in 14 hours.
Compatible Solar Charger
You can use any solar charger to power up Delta Mini, which has got an advanced MPPT controller with an input of 300 watts maximum. So, if you are looking at the EcoFlow solar panels, it has got two folding models; a 110W one and a 160W one. Both are good choices for Delta Mini.
If you go for the basic one, you will have to pair three pieces together in series to have the required system solar input voltage. Or, if you want to go with the 160W one, two pieces will be enough for the desired output.
In both cases, Mini will take four to eight hours for full charging from the sun, depending on the availability of the sunlight in your locality. Overall, these are two cool solar panels for the Delta Mini portable power station.
Made of quality mono solar cells, these panels are multi-layered and you can fold them down into ultra-portable briefcase profiles after use. Once in use, they are able to produce a conversion rate of up to 21-22%. The 160W variant has a weight of 15.4 lbs and the other one weighs 13.2 lbs.
