Following the success of its much-touted Wave portable AC and Delta Pro home backup system, EcoFlow has come up with a revolutionary modular power solution for RVs and off-grid cabins. Branded as EcoFlow Power Kits, the product is an entirely new approach to the customization of power systems for off-grid life.
The EcoFlow Power Kit is a 48V off-grid power system with a Power Hub that can combine a variety of modules required to power up an RV or off-grid build. The brand has on sale specially-made LFP batteries, fixed PV panels, and other add-ons to go with the Hub, giving you a scope of seamless customization.
The Hub supports multiple ways to recharge its 15kWh maximum capacity, covering the options of solar power of up to 4800 watts, an alternator, shore power, or the EcoFlow Smart Generator. For storage, you can stack up to three units of EcoFlow’s 2kWh or 5kWh LFP battery packs to reach up to 15kWh.
EcoFlow’s LPF batteries are self-heating units so they are ideal for use even in cold temperatures. EcoFlow has on sale specially designed fixed solar panels – both flexible and rigid – for this off-grid power system apart from other modules such as a Smart Distribution Panel, Power Kit Console, and more.

EcoFlow Power Hub – Specs and Features
The EcoFlow Power Hub is an all-in-one off-grid power hub with multiple input and output options.
With the Hub, you don’t need to purchase individual components or set up some wiring to realize an off-grid power system in our RV, tent, or cabin. Everything comes neatly packed in the Hub, which is obviously the heart of an EcoFlow Power Kit.
The input options of the Hub are two 1000W MPPT solar charge controllers of 30A, 15V-150V, one battery charger with MPPT, a DC-DC step-down converter, and a 3000W inverter-charger.
When it comes to the output, the Power Hub features a total of 4600 watts, including the 3600W AC rated output and 1000W DC output.
EcoFlow has also integrated its much-touted X-boost technology into the Hub, making you smoothly run power-hungry appliances up to 4200 watts, enough to operate an AC and heater in your RV or tent.
The Power Hub has a size of 18.9 x 5.5 x 11.8 in and it weighs 31 lbs.

Ultra-Safe, Self-Heating LFP Batteries
As you see, EcoFlow offers 2kWh and 5kWh LifePO4 battery packs for the Power Kits. They are respectively 2048Wh and 5120Wh batteries with a life of 3000 cycles and 3500 cycles up to 80% of their capacities.
You can use up to three units of the battery packs with the Power Kits to achieve an overall capacity of 6.14kWh and 15.36kWh respectively.
The batteries are highly reliable, ultra-safe, and long-lasting LFP units, which integrate built-in quick access fuse boxes and integrated BMS for space-saving.
As said above, the batteries are self-heating solutions so that the built-in BMS will automatically turn on the heating system in order to achieve optimal charging performance and increased safety.
You can also activate the heating feature manually on the mobile app with a press of a button. The heating system will stop automatically after it would heat the battery to the optimal working temperature.
The battery packs are IP54-certified and so they are safe from dust, splashes, and particles. The 2kWh and 5kWh battery packs have a size of 13.7 x 7.8 x 11.2 in and 19.7 x 10.2 x 11.8 in and a weight of 37.7 lbs and 89.5 lbs respectively. Check out the complete battery specs card below.
NB: Third-party battery packs are not compatible with the Power Hub.
Easy Battery Management System
The EcoFlow Power Kits come with an easier battery management system.
You can start by choosing either a 2kWh or 5kWh option and later expand the system up to a whopping 15kWh. The interesting thing is that you can stack the LFP battery packs both vertically or horizontally so that space management also goes a breeze in your RV, tent, or cabin.
EcoFlow Rigid and Flexible Solar Panels – 100W and 400W
EcoFlow has 100W rigid, flexible solar panels and 400W rigid, portable solar panels for the Power Kit.
The 100W solar panels – both solid and flexible variants – can deliver a high conversion rate of up to 23%. The flexible one is a lightweight and ultra-thin variant that is ideal for off-grid applications.
As you can curve it up to 30 degrees, you can easily fix the flexible solar panels on the top of your RV, boat deck, and tent roof. The EcoFlow 100W flexible solar panel weighs just 5.1 lbs.
By the way, when it comes to rigid panels, it is made of high-quality, corrosion-resistant aluminum frame and ultra-clear glass surface. It sports pre-drilled holes to let you fasten it securely to any surface.
The 100W rigid panel costs $199, while the flexible one costs $249.
The power system is also compatible with third-party solar panels with each of its solar inputs having a 150V maximum voltage and 30A maximum current.
The Power Kit Smart Distribution Panel
It is an extension panel that you can connect to the Power Hub to extend power outlets for use in your RV or off-grid tents.
The Smart Distribution Panel comes with as many as six AC outlets and 12 DC sockets.
You can have control of the DC sockets over the EcoFlow App or the Power Kit Console. Well, you can not only control but also track the energy consumption and other details wirelessly.
EcoFlow Power Kit Console
The Power Kit Console is the control center of the Power Kit. It has got a 7-in intuitive touchscreen, which helps you monitor and control the entire system.
You can track and customize the input and output positions on the Console. The Power Kit Console gets connected to the Hub via an RJ45 port and an Ethernet cable.
The 12V DC control unit has a size of 4.5 x 8.1 x 0.9 in and it weighs 1 lb only and it has a price of $349.
