Jackery has expanded its much-touted Explorer solar power station series with a high-capacity Explorer 2000. Called Jackery Explorer 2000 portable power station, the device looks to be the brand’s reply to Bluetti AC200P and a series of recent power stations in the mid-range segment.
Along with a younger variant Explorer 1500, Jackery unveiled the new power station on March 17, 2021. Apart from the two new solar power stations, the company has also surfaced a 200W variant of its much popular SolarSaga solar chargers that are compatible with the new Explorers.
Specs-wise, Explorer 2000 is a high-capacity 2060Wh power station. It packs up a 2200W continuous pure sine wave inverter that can surge at 4400 watts through its four 110V AC sockets. Compared to many of its rivaling products, Explorer 2000 is certainly a brilliant product with a lot of stunning features.
Jackery Explorer 2000 Portable Power Station
There has been a streak of mid-range solar power stations on the market recently. Following Bluetti, many small-time and established brands joined the fray with incredible products. To name a few, LEOCH, Zero Breeze, and AllPowers came up with impressive products in the heavily crowded segment.
Here is Jackery’s reply with an amazingly practical and functional power station. For the Explorer 2000, the brand has certainly kept up its stylish and unique design. Meanwhile, you get a good-capacity battery and a high wattage inverter to help run all your essential appliances and devices off the grid.
Explorer 2000 is rich with a number of other charging options than the AC sockets. Clearly, it has three USB ports, one USB-C port, one USB 3.0 Quick Charge port, a USB-A port, and a carport. Certainly, these ports make it cover most of your indoor and outdoor gadgets and appliances for unlimited portable power.
When it comes to charging, the brand has introduced SolarPeak technology, an advanced MPPT charging solution. It can help charge your power station quite faster from the solar panels. Connected to a series of the brand’s four SolarSaga 200 solar chargers, you can charge it in below four hours under a bright sun.
COMPATIBLE SOLAR CHARGER
As stated above, Jackery’s new SolarSaga 200 is indeed the best choice for the power station. With its heavy battery, the brand recommends four units of SolarSaga 200 for Explorer 2000 as it supports up to 800W solar input. As you use the maximum input, it will take only three hours for a full charge.
SolarSaga 200 is actually a four-fold mono charger. Thanks to its ETFE layering, it can offer you a higher conversion efficiency under an optimal sun. Thanks to its built-in carrying handle and kickstands, you can take it anywhere on your trips at ease. It folds down to a very small and handy unit after use.
Of course, SolarSaga 200 is a waterproof and dust-resistant charger. It comes with a rating of IP67 so that you can use it in rough outdoor conditions with no fear of quick tear and wear. It can sustain the intrusion of dust and even immersion to a water body of up to three meters.

By the way, coming to the price, Explorer 2000 alone costs around $2000, while you get it in a bundle of four 200W solar chargers at around $4500.
